Comprehensive coal research in a modern laboratory complex

The laboratory complex uses a wide range of coal testing methods for the coal mining and processing industry.

Testing for all types of samples is conducted turnkey according to international and Russian methodologies. There is the possibility of processing large samples and testing according to programs for specific goals and objectives.

Within the framework of the research, technical analysis indicators are evaluated, main chemical-petrographic indicators of coal are determined, indicators for grade classification and assessment of coal's technical value.

The laboratory conducts standard and extended tests for thermal and coking coals, including research of mechanical properties of coal and rock.

There is the possibility of implementing various washability tests for all types of samples, in addition to traditional ones.

The laboratory also conducts research on water, soils and grounds, performs petrographic analysis, laboratory coking of coal with determination of coke quality and comparison with coals.

The complex employs qualified personnel with extensive work experience, and independent expert evaluation of testing results is conducted.
