2nd Conference "Corrosion in the Oil and Gas Industry".

From September 15 to 17, 2021, the 2nd International Conference "Corrosion in the Oil and Gas Industry" was held in St. Petersburg.

The development of complex, often non-standard approaches to improving equipment reliability and protecting materials from the aggressive impact of operating conditions is one of the key tasks facing the international community of oil and gas production and processing companies. The organizers provided for a greater number of business events with the opportunity to talk about their solutions and discuss current industry challenges within the international professional community. The discussions covered main technological achievements and problems: standards and regulatory documentation, new anti-corrosion materials (corrosion-resistant alloys, polymers, composite materials) and technologies for special conditions (Arctic, open sea and ocean), education (personnel training), certification and knowledge transfer, elements of digital transformation, risks and environmental issues.

Our General Director - Natalya Luzina presented a report "Implementation of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) Approach for Monitoring the Technical Condition of Process Equipment."
