RBI Concept participated in the "Import Substitution-2020" conference.

The annual technological conference "Import Substitution in the Oil and Gas Industry 2020" took place in St. Petersburg at the end of February. More than 150 delegates attended the event - heads of relevant departments from vertically integrated oil companies, equipment and IT technology manufacturers, EPC contractors, leading industry consultants and analysts, and government representatives.

Representatives of RBI Concept company also participated in the sessions (in the photo in the second row - company head Natalia Petrovna Luzina and Alexey Stanislavovich Abramov). The company's specialists closely monitor all modern industry trends, new digital economy standards, developments and implementation of advanced technologies in the oil and gas segment. Over two days, industry experts discussed the need to develop Russian technological sovereignty, import substitution, and options for entering export markets with proprietary technologies.

At the technical session "Made in Russia," oil and gas companies presented domestic projects, equipment and materials. Developments such as import-substituting geophysical equipment from FGUP "VNIIA," quality control equipment from NPO "SPEKTRON," complete oil and gas extraction technology using a new highly efficient complex organic solvent LINAK, and others were presented.

At the session "Technological Sovereignty of the Country: Challenges, Initiatives, Achievements," industry experts discussed the potential of the technological sector in the context of the oil and gas industry's independence from foreign technologies.

At the session "International Cooperation in Import Substitution Conditions: Localization, Technological Partnerships and Competence Transfer," they discussed technologies and innovations, competence localization and supply chain diversification by attracting Russian manufacturers, creating joint R&D centers, as well as the current situation in integrating domestic business into global economic chains.

At the second day's session "National Innovation Center for Energy Sector Technologies 'Russian Houston' in St. Petersburg," they discussed global experience in creating innovative technological clusters from cities, the current status of project implementation at the city administration level, as well as relevant aspects of establishing tax and relocation regimes.
