Often, technological structural units of enterprises face the problem of applying existing welding operation technologies or their complete absence. In practice, there is a technical specification, a set of drawings, specifications for the future product, but there is no developed welding technology or established welding modes within the existing technology. Also, within the existing project, the base and welding materials, applied welding equipment, and tooling may be changed.

In this case, to ensure high and stable product quality, as well as the possibility of certification and further validation of welding operations according to EN ISO 15614-1 to 12, EN ISO 15613, EN ISO 14555 standards, it is necessary to develop welding technology or establish welding modes within the existing technology. Special attention should be paid to establishing welding modes before starting to use new technological equipment, and preferably before purchasing equipment - at the selection stage. These measures are always in the context of requirements for improving the quality of manufactured products using welding technological operations.   • preparation, coordination and legitimization of WPQR in corresponding supervisory bodies.
