Corrosion and Corrosion Management
International corrosion and corrosion management expert with 50 years of experience, author of four fundamental monographs and hundreds of scientific papers. Specialises in inhibitors, protective coatings, monitoring and integrated corrosion management. Lectures at Technion (Israel), the University of British Columbia (Canada), the University of Surrey (United Kingdom) and the University of Canterbury (New Zealand), and has trained refinery specialists at QazMunayGas.

Integrity & Reliability Management, TÜV auditor (Germany)
Expert in reliability and technical risk management for industrial equipment, international TÜV auditor (Germany). For more than 15 years she has worked on Integrity & Reliability Management and on rolling out the risk-based inspection (RBI) approach in industry. Contributes to the development of RBI methodology and regulatory practice in Russia.

Asset integrity and corrosion protection
Highly qualified specialist with over 18 years of experience in asset integrity, equipment reliability and corrosion protection in the oil and gas industry. Head of an Integrity & Reliability department, he has worked on major international projects including Sakhalin-1, Sakhalin Energy, Yamal LNG and Badra. Holds deep expertise in RBI to API 580/581, risk management, failure investigation and the design of technical integrity systems.

Questions
What to know in advance
What language is the seminar held in?
All talks and materials are in Russian. Interpretation is not provided.
Is any special background required?
No. The programme is built so that the first talk introduces the subject from scratch. The engineering specifics come in the second half, once the general logic is clear to everyone in the room.
How many people can one plant send?
Two or three works best: the executive who makes the decision and a subject specialist — the chief mechanic or the head of the inspection service. Total room capacity is 25 people, so please tell us the line-up when registering.
Will materials be available after the seminar?
Yes. Every registered participant receives the speakers’ presentations, a list of recommended standards and sources, and the speakers’ contacts.
Can questions be submitted in advance?
Yes, and it is the best way to get a detailed answer. Questions submitted at registration are addressed by the speakers during the panel discussion.
Will data from a specific plant be reviewed?
Not in the open part — all examples are anonymised. Your own situation can be discussed during the reception or at a separate meeting after the seminar.
