RBI, Corrosion and AI: a seminar for the chemical industry of Uzbekistan
On 24 September 2026 RBI Concept is holding a seminar for executives of chemical industry plants in Uzbekistan — “RBI, Corrosion and AI”. A conversation about how to maintain less often and spend less, while knowing for certain that the equipment will not let you down.
In four hours we answer three questions:
- why the industry is moving away from calendar-based maintenance and what replaces it;
- what actually destroys chemical process equipment and whether it can be predicted;
- where artificial intelligence already delivers results and where it remains a good-looking slide deck.
The format targets the management level — deputy general directors, chief engineers and mechanics, heads of industrial safety, maintenance and inspection services. No special background is required: we talk about decisions and money, backed by engineering specifics.
Participants take away the logic of RBI under the API 580 and API 581 standards, a map of damage mechanisms for nitrogen, soda ash, potash and polymer production, and a ready 12-month pilot project scenario.
The seminar is intimate — no more than 25 participants — so there is time for everyone's questions. The programme is followed by a reception, with the speakers staying in the room.
