For decades, international standards such as API RP 580/581, ASME B31G, and ISO 55000 have existed in the field of equipment reliability and safety management. These standards serve as important guidelines for global industry and ensure high levels of quality and safety.

However, considering the specifics of Russian equipment operating conditions (climatic features, typical operating modes, technical data availability), the need arose to develop our own industry standard that takes into account the unique requirements of the Russian market.

As part of this endeavor, RBI Concept LLC, commissioned by the Institute of Oil and Gas Technological Initiatives (INTI), developed an industry standard for risk management and equipment inspections (RBI) adapted to Russian conditions. We are working on an entire series of similar standards.
